I hope everybody had a great one. I received my present early and didn't like it wasn't happy wasn't very excited about it. I know I sound like an awful wife that didn't love her mother's day present but I was really thinking about it from a frugal standpoint. Chris bought me a pandora bracelet and 2 beads. Ok this is the latest "it" thing, I think. Well I counted how many beads a bracelet will hold - 20ish! the damn beads cost at least $25 EACH! Um no thank you. So he took it back (you can read how he feels about that at his new blog) and I get to order my $30 necklace that I wanted in the first place. The other present was the bib from Grayson (Chris) and it's perfect.
EDITED to add - I love my dear wonderful husband that really tries hard to make me happy. It's a tough job.

Ok, Chris DOES get an "A" for effort! You have to give him that! But, at least you get your necklace too! :)
Happy mother's day to you too. Your "laundry is dumb" comment made me laugh out loud. It IS dumb.
I'll have to check out your husband's blog too. You guys are a funny pair.
I love that he tries hard.
My husband just asks these days. Present buying is so hard.
too funny...I'm glad things are all straigtened out now and you got the necklace you wanted. The bib...too freakin cute...actually your son is cuter but the bib is awesome!
From Mamadearest...I have you beat...Half way through my FIRST Mother's Day I told my husband "Go get me a card and some flowers". Then...I gave him some cash. The poor guy feels awful, since he lost his job.:( I was pampered all day thou.
Happy Mother's Day to you, too, Brandy! At least you ended up getting what you desired in the first place :-)
LOL, I have had presents like that, and vice versa for my Hubby. It's not about the gift, but the thought behind it, right? The pic is adorable!
Poor Chris! At least he tried!
Too funny. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your first personal Mother's Day. Just wait til Grayson is old enough to cook and serve breakfast in bed. Shells in the scramble. Nuff said!
My first mother's day present from my husband was a table saw. Hmm. Riiiiight. That was so for me.
Aw, well, it's the thought that counts, right?
I just saw your comment on my swaddle post and you just make me laugh so hard! Have a great night! Marci
Happy mothers day!! Im glad you got what you wanted!! Thanks about the headband comment!
Glad you had a nice Mother's Day despite the gift...that is too funny..i would have never actually fessed up to no liking something :) Then again I got a freekin' margarita machine -- who would want that to go back....but seriously, trust me -- it was like the only SCORE from my hubby in a long time. He owed me BIG TIME for my 30th last month when he gave me a wine glass with 30 candles painted on it...that's it. So there you go. I'll have to stop over and read your hubby's new blog...men are a hoot!
