F Bomb Friday

So Mimi hosts F Bomb Friday. And it makes me happy so go play along.

You know what's worse than NOT having a pool this really hot freakin summer?

Living next door to a house WITH a pool. And being able to hear their fun.
Their "oooooh I'm having such a cool time in my pool." "oooooh I'm awesome in my pool"
And they splash. On purpose. I can hear them.

Bastards.
I really need to figure out how to make nice to get in with the pool-havin hoes. I think I'm gonna use the kid.

Plan B - Because I need some pool time and bought myself a fat girl swimsuit - We are headed to the Public pool tomorrow.

I'm a little nervous - I'm trying to figure out what I need to take. I always overthink things.

The pool-going list consists of

me
Grayson
swim diapers
sunscreen
towel

That seems like way too short of a list. I'm taking a toddler to a pool. Surely the list should be 427 items long.

Tell me what I'm forgetting

hmmm...well if it were me going, i would add alcohol to that list, but i suppose that's not a great idea when you have a kiddo with you.

all i could think of while reading this was the petoria episode of family guy where peter takes over joe swanson's pool. that didn't end well for him, but if you execute better, it could just work...

I know how you feel about the pool, however we don't even have a public pool around here! Don't forget to take a camera & some type of floaties for G!

We had a pool for 17 years in our last house. We only put a spa in this time and it is not the same.
I would hate to live next to a house with a pool. Enjoy the public pool. I just got me a new fat girls swimsuit too! I got it from Women Within with a 1/2 price coupon. Taking it to Vegas but knowing me I won't leave the machines.

Hats? Drinks & snacks? Water Wings? Camera?

And a bucket. Hours of fun can be spent filling it and pouring it out . . . filling it and pouring it out . . . filling it and pouring it out.
You get the idea. Have fun.

There are lots of people around my 'hood with a pool. I have yet to make nice with them so I can have a dip. The kid thing might work. I'll have to come up with an invasion plan. :)

I took Ethan to a semi-public pool last weekend (my friend in a member of a country club, so I get to pretend I'm All THAT!). Don't forget some snacks and water for rehydration. Oh, and I brought an extra diaper and clothes, so he didn't get his car seat all wet.

extra towels, a blanket to sit on, unless they have chairs. Also those Swim t-shirts for G! they will keep his skin from going all lobster!

Extra clothes for Grayson, an extra shirt for yourself. Maybe a float or swimmies for G? We're going to a pool party for Jackson's cousin tomorrow and I'm a little nervous. Taking him swimming is one thing, getting in a swimsuit in front of all of my in laws and their friends? totally different. Also, I thought I had him all packed but then I saw your list and realized I forgot to pack him a TOWEL. geez.

Camera, snacks, extra clothes and towels.
I'm jealous you're going to the pool.
I'm more jealous your dbag neighbors HAVE a pool.
And I'm jealous of the weather that makes you wanna go to the pool. It's pouring here. Still.

Seriously, what nerve to have a pool next door to you!

Definitely bring the camera, we all need our daily Grayson fix met!

How about a hat for Grayson to wear in the pool? He might be ok with all of his hair though...Sarah hardly has any hair and I don't want the top of her head to get sunburned so I usually bring a hat for her.

Hate to tell you this but I am one of those neighbors that have a pool in their backyard - nothing fancy but it is 4x18 round. Enuf to stay cool!

You crack me up! I have neighbors with a pool too, and they don't even have kids! It's not fair:D

Too funny! Yes, you also need snacks, beverages, possible metdown stoppers (blankies, loveys, pacis, etc.) and that takes it down to now only needing to think of the other 424 things!

For soccer every Saturday I pack enough stuff that we could literally get lost in a forest for about a week and still survive, and soccer is about an hour long!
