So we all know the main perk of being a mom is the accessories.
Grayson looks WAY cuter in his clothes than I do in mine.
And Grayson has to have the cutest bag / shoes / room stuff
He *NEEDS* it.
But sadly I'm on an allowance - a cash allowance. Chris has developed this annoying habit where he looks at the bank EVERY stinkin day. And says ANOTHER iTunes app, REALLY?
But would I let gripy husband-ness keep me from my beloved itunes?
I'm sneaky. and am willing to share my ninja skills.
Tips for Stealth Shopping.
1st up - you need secret spending dollars
Buy a gift card at Wal-Mart during your shopping trip. They usually have iTunes, amazon, even visa. Then it will just look like part of the "groceries" on the bank account.
Sell something on Craigslist. This is a great way to get a little extra cash.
2nd issue - How to explain the new *things*
Nana bought it
Your boss gave it to you because his 3 girls don't need that crap anymore
It was actually a baby gift but just now needed
The magic present fairy left it in your car
It's a product review for your blog.
Think of it as a way to keep your marriage healthy. Women *need* to shop and men don't need to know.
It's our hunt and gather instinct. Who are we to fight nature?!

lol if that only worked!! My husband faithfully checks it daily!! He doesn't miss a thing and he likes to go to walmart and the grocery store with me. If i spend an extra dollar he flips, lol. Glad it works for you!
We live in the country so almost everything I shop for comes via the UPS guy. I am thinking about working out a deal with him so he will just leave my packages in the alley over by the garage, next to the wood pile.
I seriously thought I was the only one!!
Ive found my self saying things like- I got it off freecycle, ohh weve had that forever, I won it on a giveaway....
in hind sight i sounds sorta crazy lol. but, apparently Im not the only one haha!
I heart you, Brandy. You are so my bloggy twin!
The grocery idea? Yeah, that's how I get Ethan lots of his clothes. Oh, and when Clint got back from his trip, he walked in the room with Ethan and said, "What's this?" I said, "Well, Ethan needed a bag to carry his stuff around in." He NEEDED it...couldn't live without it. Either that or I couldn't live without him having it because he's so don't cute rolling that rolly little back pack around!
LMAO I love this!
I never thought of the gift cards at Walmart. Going to have to use that one!
Haha!
I usually pull out money and then just use cash. Granted then my husband is all, "What did you pull the money out for?" He checks the bank account every few days :/ But sometimes he does overlook something and I'm all, "Woohoo!" He's not innocent himself though. He bought a pair of sunglasses online and didn't tell me until they showed up at the door.
An allowance? That's insane. Just change the online banking password, that's what I do...
Ha!! And this is why we have a joint bank account. Although he totally does give me the side-eye when he comes home to shopping bags. I don't have a Nana around to use as an excuse.
I loved the title of this blog BTW.
Oh and re: washed up musicians...no they were really great! Had they been at the State Fair multiple times though...I think that would have been a clue that they were grasping at straws!
Making notes. I thought I was doing well with y 15yrs of NEEDS but this is priceless, keep them coming. Oh it's for the blog business? check! (really have to work on this one more) also "cash back" click OK! :) hehehe
Oh geez, I bow to your ninja shopping skills! I may need them!
I always tell the hubs it was 5 dollars.
Yep. iPod. 5 bucks.
******giggle*********
Too funny! I always tell my husband that my sister gave it to me or I bought it a long time ago & forgot I had it.
Smart ~ very smart!
HAHAHA Very bad!Very bad!
I do this too. Although, since my husband reads my blog, I wouldn't dare breath a word of it on the website. we moms are tricky now aren't we?
LOL>.. im sooo doing the gift card thing you are a genius darling!!!!
i buy what i want fool haha (because i dont have a husband)
but that gift card thing is genius! :)
I'm lucky. Chuck is clueless. But those are some good tips.
You're a stinker, and a very, very good one!
Mr. Clean does the same thing! What's worse is that he has it set so he receives a text alert any time I spend over $100. How the hell am I supposed to suppot my Coach purse habit? Men.
Oh my gosh I love you. This is the kind of stuff I do from time to time and thought I was the only one. It is not our fault we do this but us being girls we need to spend money. It is in our nature
Oh this is so great! Tee Hee:)
