I totally needed the break after staying home 5 straight days with sick and cranky fussy butt. (so sorry all you stay at home all the time moms)
This is what I did with my much needed break. After I was finished dancing around the house like a madman.
I made this giraffe looking thing I saw here
The giraffe turned out so well I thought I would totally make a monster. Um. I suck at curves on my sewing machine. My husband laughed at it a LOT. And several FB pals took turns giving it a nickname. 
I got a much needed pedicure with my gift certificate I received for my birthday - in February. The spa girl was a little zealous in one spot with the salts. I think she was getting revenge for my non-shaving.
And my sister treated me to dinner after.
I had so much energy not wasted on Toddler Wrangling that I even got a wild hair to organize the office/scrapbook room.
Looks awesome right?

So glad you got to enjoy a home a lone, especially after staying home with a sick baby all week! I actually had someone once tell me how jealous they were that all these "parents" get to stay home with their "sick kids." Um...yeah, because THAT'S fun!

Totally kewl day. Now I wouldn't stay home since I'm here all the time but I understand the want to since I used to work outside the house. Totally awesome monster I think.
