Random Tuesday

randomtuesday

It's time to random.

I had a dream that Crazy Nana wanted a tattoo - so we went all over town to find somebody to tattoo a picture of herself on her butt - then we went dancing.

Chris (Hubs) told me yesterday that I need to nag him more. Yes - he really did. He's decided he's lazy (which I knew) and he needs me to "encourage" him to get more stuff done. I'm a little giddy.

I'm having a Febreeze House Party Saturday which I'll have free stuff to give to my guests. I think they are a little cynical - like I'm just trying to get them there to sell them a timeshare. If you are reading this - there is NO catch - just FREE stuff. swearsies.

Grayson is doing better at daycare this week. Last week he was having "don't leave me mama" issues. This week we are back to "see ya later" It makes it much easier.

Grayson also loves the word "mine" and "no" and really sounds the cutest ever.

We've recently discovered the Backyardigans. I like it. The songs are catchy and cute. What's the most awful kids show ever? The Wiggles - it gives me child-toucher vibes.

We visited some family that is older. Older means lots of stuff. I wore myself out telling Grayson - "no - don't touch - that's not ours - that's shooey - no" I'm pretty sure he may have broken something.

It's kinda amazing how babyproof-ed our house is now. And it's so much easier to just let him roam and touch and explore without that constant nagging.

I'm not a good nagger. But then again Chris told me he doesn't want me to be great at it.

Your turn - click the purple button and link up.

A free invention to nag? Oh my! How long do you think it'll take for him to revoke it? Clint would be seconds after saying it! hehe.

I know exactly what you mean about the babyproofed stuff. It's so much easier than having to chase them around all over the place!

Apparently you have not discovered the Upside Down Show! DO NOT WATCH...it has to be the STUPIDEST show alive. Natalee loves it though, but I refuse to let her watch it, just because it is that stupid!

Eye to eye on the Wiggles. My nephew watches them and they creep me the heck out.

I have no idea what a Febreeze House Party is, but if you are giving away Febreeze, you would be my hero. I'm addicted to that stuff.

If you want to avoid an awful kids show never what Yo Gabba Gabba. Dumd and stupid--almost as bad as the big purple dinosaur who shall remain nameless and unwatched in our house.

Would he let all of us line up and nag him? I think we all have pent up nag frustration just waiting to be dumped on someone :)

No. You like the Backyardigans NOW, but trust me, about the 457th time you hear "I'm goin...to the canyon...I'm goin....to the canyon..." you'll be tired of it. LOL

I threw a houseparty awhile back. People were wary too but those who came were glad they did. It was a lot of fun. I bet yours is going to be great!

So what do you do at a Febreeze House Party? I never heard of one.
Have fun! I love the crazy Nana dream :) It's so much easier when they are happy at day care, glad it's a better week.

Ha- what husband asks to be nagged? That's awesome!
I remember being sad when my son was little and would just wander off and feel no emotion upon my leaving. I also felt sad when he cried as I left. It was a lose-lose situation.

Ha-the older family story is funny.

Agreed about the babyproof thng! We just got home and I felt like I could finally relax- nothing for her to break or that could break her!

I, unfortunately, know how to nag. Just ask Tyler.

I am so on the same page with you. I have toddler born in December 2008 too and he recently started a day care in our new hometown, with mixed reviews. So far so good. And the Backyardigans are awesome.
