Random stuff

randomtuesday

Dude - I have like 5 emails saying I have comments on my last post but my last post says I only have 2 - dumb blogger.

If you are a facebook fan you saw that I made the ugliest owl ever - it's supposed to be LSU colors and I totally did a botch job on it. I suck. I sewed 2 of the ribbons inside out and then I sewed another of the ribbons into the body when it was supposed to be hanging.

I'm just hoping to get better at this sewing thing. and crap - I just noticed the wings are upside down. Maybe I should retire.

My husband has this really asshole way of saying things like he texted me this morning - "I had to throw all but 2 boxes of cereal away because you left them open. Please don't do that again"

and I wanted to text him back "You can be a real shithead. Please don't do that again"

The nana came over last night - she told me she has liver cancer. Now before you get too excited - she hasn't been to the doctor or had any tests done or have any basis at all - just that her pants are too tight.

She will see a news story about someone having some Antarican Polar Disease and tell me that she has been coughing more than usual and she probably has that.

Yes the day something really is wrong - I will feel like an ass but that's probably not today.

I blog off the cuff. I sit down and just word vomit. Whatever comes out I type. I have a few ideas of posts but most of the time it's just by the seat of my pants.

How do you blog?

Grab the purple button - link up - and random away.

I love the owl. Who cares if it didn't turn out exactly like it was supposed to....adds character. Seriously.

Husbands are dumb. Last night, mine said, "You need to adopt the mentality that you should keep some things instead of sticking with the throw-away culture." Really? Does he even realize how hard it would've been to move as much as I moved if I had kept everything I wanted to keep? I did not have a mommy-dearest house to keep all my things until I was settled. Excuse me for keeping it light! :) sorry....a little rant there.

You Crazy Nana cracks me up.....

And, finally, I wish I blogged more off the cuff then I do. Problem with that is I'd be constantly deleting what I wrote because I would'nt want certain peeps checking it out!

Wait. What? So, my pants are tight all the time, I hope I don't have cancer!
Also. Yeah. My hubs does that crap too, but I DO tell him he's an asshole.

I must admit, I like to have a topic when I blog. I can't just do a stream of consciousness thing-- word vomit, as you say! My readers would read it and think, "what is this crazy jumble of words that Lisa just spewed out? It makes no sense!"

OMG!!!! Because her pants are too tight - now that is so stinkin' funny!

I think blogging vomiting is the best! Because you that shows you are human and human, silly and crazy is the norm nowadays!!!

I love your little owl - don't give up on sewing!!! It is to adorable!!!

My husband does the same things sometimes. Men really do need filters...and who cares if the cereal was a little stale..get over it. Oh man..I am venting about my DH on your comments..sorry. Loved your post, and the owl is kind of cute..in a weird way.

Your owl cracked me up. It's cute!

Have you ever seen the Jeff Foxworthy skit about his mother...he says "Mom, you do not have testicular cancer, you don't even have any TESTICULARS!!" That's what your nana's comment reminded me of! LOL

I love the owl. He's cute and don't worry you'll get better! Hand crafted stuff isn't supposed to come out perfect anyway!
I totally would have sent back that text to my hubby!
I hope your Nana is okay. That's funny though...I have a friend like that...SHE once convinced herself she had prostate cancer...I think the Discovery Health Channel needs to stop airing.

I'm also a seat of my pants blogger. I just don't have the drive to edit. :P

My guess is that she doesn't have it today unless a doctor has said so. So many things have the same symptom! I often have ideas and write them down or a start a post but then a few days later I think who will want to read this crap!!!

OMG is your Nana my MIL? God help us if there are two of them in this world...

I love the way you blog...don't change a thing! You make me laugh and I love reading your posts! You did a much better job on the owl than I would have done...mine wouldn't have even looked like an owl. LOL about the DH text!!

You are getting lots of comments. Good for you. Crazy Nana is my favorite, but I think you knew that. I go half and half on the blogging. Sometimes I have ideas and sometimes I just do a spur of the moment thing. Usually it is an idea with no plan so I work it out as I go.
