I didn't use a pattern this time. I just cut up one of the panels and then made borders and stuff. I much prefer using a pattern.
This quilt ended up being 44 x 52 which is a good throw size.
I ended up using the variegated thread and love it.
I also did some creative quilting inside the squares around the animals and stuff. Ya I'm not that talented.
I pieced the back and I'm pretty sure it's crooked.
I love it. Owls make me happy.
I think I should've picked a different binding because it's very white on white with the border.
I already have a pattern and fabric for the next quilt.
Oh and my I-spy quilt. I might actually get 5 done in a year.
Don't hold your breath.

Took me about five minutes to think of that. heh.
It's gorgeous!!! I love it, you are TOO talented!
I bow down to your domestic goddess skillz! I consider threading a needle to sew on a button a newsworthy accomplishment.
Well, let's just be debbie downer on ourselves, why don't we!? You did freaking AWESOME!!!! You know where my quilt kit is (still in the package, because i'm SCARED!) YEA! So there!!!

It looks amazing! Great job!
You rocked this! You know that is what is so awesome about making stuff yourself - it does not have to be perfect. That way it is more special when it is handed down from generation to generation - they will always know that Crazy Brandy made this quilt in her own special way!

I agree with Sheila, you shouldn't be all down on yourself, telling us all the faults! Be proud! I think it looks awesome and I'm glad you chose the variegated thread :)
