All Aboard....

The potty train.

We've let G wear big boy unders on and off - pretty much when he's feeling it.

Well last Thursday - he decided he wanted to wear them to school. So he did. And we haven't looked back.

He wears a diaper at nap time and at night. I don't trust him one little bit. And since he's still cosleeping (shhhhhhhhh) I don't want to get peed on.

He's done AWESOME with the peeing. Totally getting the peeing part. Only a handful of pee accidents in a week.

Poop - poop is a no go. Well it's a go all up in his unders.

So ya. disgusting! I throw those nasty unders away. for real yo. I will buy new freakin batman unders before I will touch that nasty.

He got a new piggy bank from Target for his first accident-free day (he didn't poop that day)

He loves it and finding random money to put in it.

He also got new rain boots. And it's all he wears now. Like no shoes. or socks. Just rain boots.

Well when you have a pee accident in rain boots - it pools. just sayin.

When you have a pee accident in most shoes, it pools, haha

One little boy in my preschool was a undies pooper. It was pretty obnoxious.

Yay G! Natalee was the same way with pooping, until about a week ago, so he will get the hang of it. Just give him time!

Oh & thanks! Since reading the title of this post I now have the "All aboard the choo choo train" song from Disney stuck in my head! :p

Sounds like he is doing really well. The poop is a tough one for them! He will get it soon but in the meantime I feel sorry for you with the mess.

Good luck with the potty train. It took us awhile to get the poop mastered too.

Yay Grayson! I would totally be throwing out poopy unders too! Gia wears pull up's for naps and overnight diaper for nighttime. I kind of hate potty training...and she's pretty much all done, but it was so much easier when she would go in a diaper because I wouldn't have to stop what I was doing and rush her to the potty on time. And we sometimes forget to have her use the potty right before we leave the house and then we are in panic mode when she calls from the back seat "I gotta go potty!". Diapers were easy, smelly, but easy! I'm definitely NOT looking forward to training the lil guy!

Poop is always a tough one for kids. The pediatrician told us that for some reason kids think that when they poop they're leaving a piece of their body behind in the toilet. It's psychology I guess. Weird.

I'm dreading potty training. We're experimenting but man I don't wanna do this AT ALL.

Love it! Bree was pretty easy to potty train. She actually initiated the whole thing, but at night, she sleeps in a pull up. She hasn't mention NOT wanting to wear a pull up, and I'm not all about cleaning pee up in the middle of the night, so I figure when she's ready for the undies at night...she'll tell me.

hahah I tossed poop panties when we were potty training too. I don't know how people who cloth diaper do it. ughhhh! and Maggie and G can wear their rainboots together- she is obsessed with hers!

So glad he is doing so good with it (except for the poop part, but he'll get that eventually!) When they are ready, they are ready, and then they do really good with it! I'm with you on the night/nap thing, I did the same; I got tired of getting up in the middle of night to change sheets, etc. I like the rewards he's getting too!

LOL! I'm totally with you! We haven't had an accident free day yet, but he'll get a present when he figures it out!

hahaha when I saw the title of the post "All aboard..." I immediately thought "...the crazy train." Sorry. But I am severely scarred from my experience potty training my son (now 11, it all came together e-ven-tu-ally).

my friends daughter went pee first and would scream and cry and wouldnt go poop and now she does both so maybe with time...i dont know anything about potty training other than to bribe them with treats and toys and to put ur hand over the automatic toliet sensor or they will get scared and never go on those again (friends daughter again)
