Grayson was sick last week all the way through the weekend. He had croup and a sinus infection. He couldn't go to school. So me and him hung around for 4 straight days.
It just reinforces that I am not SAHM material. Kudos to you.
He got exactly this far from me at all times.
At one point we did manage to go out to eat and he pulled gum out from under the table.
I took it away from him as soon as I noticed.
But then had to cut this gum out of his hair.
He also managed to rip $17 in half. When I asked him why - he said "I do like the man on TV" I have no idea.
It has been taped and spent.
I picked out this shirt (I almost typed shit) for family pictures.
Which are Thursday.
I bought this shirt for G
I'm a little worried about getting him to wear it. Because he has boycotted long sleeves.
And I need to get him shoes because I refuse to let him wear his rain boots.
And I'm already trying to think of bribing tools for good pictures. Advice?
Does this post feel completely scatterbrained?

Love the shirt for G! Ummm, you forgot to add "stinky stinky stinky" rain boots, lol.
I love bribing my kids...maybe M&M's
Love the shirt, love the gum in the hair, love the randomness, love you!
And I, too, am proud to not be SAHM material!!
Bree is always finding gum under the table, and she asks why it's there, and I tell her because rude, nasty, pigs put it there. Then she's all like, "Why were pigs eating here?" Sigh...anyway, love both of your shirts! I hope the pictures come out great! Just let him be himself...those are the best pictures :)
SAHM business is rough...been doing it for four years...glad he's feeling better though!
Being a SAHM is rough, I don't think I'm cut out for it and I do it every day. Staying home with a sick baby is even worse. So glad he's feeling better!
We are supposed to get our pictures done on Saturday. I picked out sweaters...cause apparently the Jersey girl in me thinks November is supposed to be cold and didn't communicate with the Texan...it's going to be an interesting morning.
I am a SAHM and my son was home from school for a week with bronchitis and a sinus infection. By the end of the week I was ready for the psych ward. I may be a SAHM, but I struggle with it during the Summer and during long sick days home. If you would have told me a decade ago this would be my life....I would have laughed so hard I probably would have peed...a little.
Awww, poor G. I'm glad he's better!
You look FAB in that shirt!
I am a new stay at home mom as of May. If we couldn't afford preschool 3 days a week, I would go back to work. People with their kids 24/7 are either saints or crazy. Probably both.
Good luck with pictures-I'd get a back up shirt just in case. Trust me-in 20 years who cares what he wore-just that he smiles.
Four days with a sick toddler would make anyone scatterbrained. Family Pictures. I really need to get on that!
No it doesn't feel scatterbrained because that is how my mind works so it seems normal to me! Love your top and the one you got for Grayson. Someone must have been doing some magic trick. Eww on the gum. Hope he is feeling better now.
I have pictures next week. I have NOTHING to wear. Emma's outfit was made by a friend in Texas but it hasn't shipped yet and I'm running out of time! And I'm pretty sure she'll do HORRIBLE. Ugh.
I love your new shirt.
love your new shirt! and I bribe with "green px ice cream" aka mint chocolate chip form the Baskin Robbins in the px :)
I like your outfit and G's shirt for the pictures! I bet they will come out great! Sorry G has been sick; never fun when they are under the weather! LOL about the gum; but I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time! Always an adventure with them for sure!
betty
I didn't know he ripped the money!! I see it now haha on fb I just though he threw it all over the floor!
love ur shirt!! :D
hope G is feeling better.. he was so cute looking through the toy magazines when I came over!!
first things first about pictures: on the way stop by and get a Happy Meal. Chicken nuggets and I even splurge and get coke for the child instead of apple juice.
Get there...eat a little bit. Take a few pics, take a break and get a little. It works for us every time. Sometimes I even bribe with Chuck E Cheese...but I have to be careful...the kid has a memory of an elephant. I have to follow through...so I try to promise things that can happen...like the ice cream shop across the street.
Of course, sometimes Addie will decide she doesn't like ice cream. Fun times.
Honestly, a xanax for you would be the best thing ever for your pictures.
Loved the top picture...I can SO relate to that one after the last two weeks with sick kids. It's a good thing I have two legs...one for each child to cling to. Makes me wonder what happens when someone has 3 or more sick children (probably run away). I think you should have left it at "I bought this shit"...nobody would have even thought it was a mistake. Can't wait to see your family pic's. I have had mine on disc for two weeks and have yet to post them, I'm adding that blame onto sick kids (the one good thing about them being sick, gets you out of lots of things and provides a great excuse).
CUTE shirt!!! Both yours and his!!
