I'm trying to do one in G's room to kinda blend the TV in.
But I need something in that spot right above it. But not a picture. And I think it needs dimension.
And that owl poster could use a frame
This is my try at one for my office. I have my own office/crafty area so I can put as much hot pink girl crap as I want in there. Woot.
G's birthday party is this weekend.
I have a respiratory infection but started a Z-pack yesterday. I have a crapload of stuff to do before his party.
Like buy a maid and professional house decorator/party planner.
I go crazy when I'm having a party at the house.
Like I develop a superpower where I can see every tiny flaw in my house. Like the paint is chipped on a cabinet door. Or I feel the urge to go buy new blinds because I feel like my blinds aren't white enough.
I really don't know why I put myself through the stress.

Maggie's party is this weekend too. and it's supposed to snow here. FML. I've changed the location/date/time 3 times in just a couple hours. insanity!
I hope you get better soon & that G's Party is a success :) I'm like you though, I nitpick every flaw in my house when I have people over. It's crazy.

I love the round-the-tv framing. Why not just put in a close up of his own face when he was a tiny baby?
I think you did good at your office one too - personally, I might move the pink thing over to the far left, so the borders match up vertically, and then the far right ends perfectly with the ribbon-hanging thing.
I purposefully invite friends over once a month so that I will see those flaws, cause otherwise I never clean anything REALLY well and then things just pile up on top of each other and then it's out of control. Good luck at the party!
Great job on his wall! It looks fantastic. :) I agree that above the TV needs something....but something light, in case it falls down onto the TV. Hrmmmmm.....
Stop stressing- parties are meant to be fun! And kids never notice flaws, anyway. Not in decor. I hope you feel better ASAP!

We are not doing Addie's party at the house...but we are doing Claire's there in January...so you know...I'm in full on FIX THIS HOUSE mode already.

Your gallery walls look great. We are working on one in a hallway. It was actually called the gallery wall when we bought the house. It's across from the dining room.
I am doing it with all pictures on canvas that I order. Sorry your not feeling well. Sounds like you need a Sister Wive. Hope he has a fun party.
