A date. sorta

I went on a date with my husband. G went to Mimi's and played with his almost 3-yr old cousin ALL DAY Saturday.

And was completely spoiled by it. On Sunday - he kept making me play with him. Like it's the NEW THING.

"Look for clues with me"
"fight bad guys with me"
"quit reading People and get off your lazy ass and entertain me, dammit"
(ok he didn't say that but we was thinking it)

Anyway - a date. With just Chris and I. for HOURS.

We saw The Devil Inside - it sucked ass.
We shopped at the mall - I got a new purse. Woot.
We ate.

Then we got confused about what to do next. That's all we know - movie, shop, eat.

We ended up at the casino. We each had $20. Chris walked out with none and I walked out with $20.01 - I'm awesome like that.

We discussed what we would do during a zombie apocolypse. I decided that I'm not gonna make it. We'd have to grow our own food. And eat out of cans. And no Wi-Fi.

I rely too much on the Man. I like the Man. The Man keeps me happy. The Man has Pei Wei.

Yep. Saw that on Saturday night with a couple of friends. I freaked myself out more than the movie did. Exorcisms make me freak. Must be that Catholic upbringing.

I saw that movie. Thought it was entertaining, but I'm a "go to a movie and turn off my inner critic" kind of person. I never take them too seriously.

Congrats on the date, that's faboo!

We had a date night this weekend too, but like you...we eat, get coffee, and then...we just drive around b/c we're not sure what to do next. Stupid kids...they make you forget how to be normal.

We were at the casino this weekend also. I would say about 14 hours in total. I do not care to look at another flippin' slot machine for a while. UGH!

sounds like a good date in my book! and for us that was the worst part of the holidays- the girls got used to being constantly entertained by someone. I like for them to entertain themselves/each other haha

A sorta date is better than no date at all, right??

God love G, he is the man!

What exactly do those people do on dates anyways? Movie, eat, drive, shop.....what else is there? Throw in some sex and I am good. ;)

That's so great that you and the hubby had a date! I wonder what my hubby and I would talk about on a date...maybe we can plan one after I start pumping. LOL about Pei Wei!! That is one of my favorite restaurants! As soon as I was taken to the postpartum room after delivery, I asked Andy to bring me some Pei Wei! :)

So glad you had an evening out.
Sounds like fun. Sorry the movie sucked. Our son-in-law and his family are all about preparing for the end of the world. I just put my trust in God. I like things the way they are!

Shane and I had a date night last weekend... our 1st in quite sometime. Had dinner and went all out: ordered drinks AND an appetizer. Oh, yeah!

We are totally due for a date. That's all we know how to do too. Movies and Dinner...sometimes a walk if it's nice. Right now anything without the rugrats would be awesome.
Last year John tried to talk me into a Zombie Mud Run. I almost died of fright talking about it. Shudder...
